With a large Hispanic population in the Virgin Islands, the Carnival Committee has included a night where Latin music is featured, in its schedule. This has indeed made the Hispanic community feel a distinct part of this fabulous celebration. Entertainers are brought in from Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic in order to satisfy the different tastes of each segment. Many non-Hispanics make their way to the event and a local calypso band is also included in the lineup to satisfy those who may just want to be in the company of the Latinos, marveling at the manner in which they respond to music. At the end, it is evident that a great time was had by all in attendance.
